    LSQ, a language rich in colors

    Specialized in everything related to LSQ, we offer training in different formats: LSQ courses in virtual group mode, LSQ courses for American Sign Language (ASL) signers and private lessons on request. Soon, à la carte courses will be available.

    • Quebec sign language

      A unique language characterized by its three-dimensionality, LSQ, with ASL and indigenous sign languages, is recognized as one of the languages ​​most used by French-speaking Deaf people in Quebec and Canada (Canadian Sign Language Act). accessibility, 2019, ch.10, article 5.1).

    • The Eversa difference

      Our courses are designed based on the ÉvaLSQ LSQ competency grid. This grid was developed in close collaboration with the Research Group on LSQ and Deaf Bilingualism at the University of Quebec in Montreal. It allowed us to design courses that correspond to LSQ skill levels.

      The benefits of learning LSQ are numerous and are not limited to communicating with deaf and hard of hearing people.     Are the classes virtual?

    Yes, classes are virtual and are given on Zoom.

    Do we need to purchase course materials?

    No. There are no materials to purchase; everything is included in the registration price and we will provide the necessary materials on Moodle.

    Are the lessons recorded?

    No. Online courses are done in synchronous mode so there is no recording.

    Are payments accepted?

    No. We do not accept payments in installments.

    Do you have a cancellation policy?

    Yes. If you drop a course before the 2nd session, a refund will be made for a fee of $50 which covers administrative costs. Please note that it will not be possible to refund after the 2nd session.

    Do we receive a certificate at the end of the session?

    Yes, a certificate of attendance will be sent to you at the end of the session only if your final mark is 60% or more.

    Who are LSQ courses for?

    The courses are aimed at people aged 14 and over (Deaf, hard of hearing, hearing, etc.)!
